Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is a fantasy book which is set in 'the Shire' (A.K.A Middle-earth).
Before this book there was a book named 'The Lord of the Rings' which is the beginning of The Lord of the Rings series. Continuing from Lord of the Rings' story Boromir (a protagonist who is now wanting the Ring for himself) is fighting Frodo Baggins (the main protagonist throughout the story) in order to get the Ring but fails in his attempt to do so. Frodo then is able to get away from Boromir and is going to finish the quest all by himself. (Brave man) Sam (a companion of Frodo) says he wants to help Frodo along the way because it may be dangerous going alone when the is danger lurking around every path they take. Now we go onto The Tow Towers; Saruman (an evil wizard who is trying to steal the Ring because obviously he is evil) and Sauron (another antagonist) decide they want to kill Boromir by sending Orcs to go and kill him. They then decide to take Marry and Pippin. Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas (Protagonists) decide to rush to Merry and Pippins' safety and defeat the Orcs that are bringing them to Saruman and Sauron.

So far I know that Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli are brave characters who would stop at nothing to help their friends. These characters are very brave because they know they can be outnumbered by Saruman and Sauron's Orc army of doom. They may also be killed during their adventure to help Merry and Pippin because beside the fact they can be outnumbered, they can also find many dangers throughout their journey. It can be very difficult but they will get to Merry and Pippin in time. If your friends were ever danger would you try your best to save them?
